Electric Whispers

Electric Whispers presents a selection of works by Italian artist Rä di Martino that traverse the blurred boundaries between virtual and physical worlds. Moving across video, photography, 3D animation, and installation, the exhibition explores how digital technologies shape perception, memory, and identity.

At the heart of the exhibition is a fascination with displacement: of scale, of language, of narrative. Di Martino’s works are populated by wandering figures, fragmented stories, and altered landscapes, revealing how the real and the imagined increasingly coexist and interfere with one another. Her practice questions the role of technology in generating meaning today, as screens, images, and code become sites for both escape and reflection.

Alongside key works from the past decade, the exhibition features new pieces developed during the artist’s recent residency in Beirut, where themes of science fiction, video games, and collective looking become starting points for wider meditations on attention, memory, and cultural dislocation.

Electric Whispers invites viewers to enter a space where the familiar becomes uncanny, where the digital holds the traces of the human, and where imagination gestures toward new ways of inhabiting a fragmented present.
