Basket Weaving Workshop with Marwa Abou Khalil

Using pine needles as the primary material, Marwa Abou Khalil will conduct a workshop on basket weaving and share her knowledge on weaving using natural material. Participants will learn the basics of weaving and create their own basket using the coiling technique. Participants will leave the workshop with the basket they create from pine needles.

Marwa Abou Khalil is a self-taught basket weaver and herbalist who finds pleasure in making crafts with her own hands. She is the founder of @2asheh_laffeh and @tereyak_ through which she enjoys transmitting her experience and craft to others. She loves exploring the wilderness and spending quality time between the trees.
