A ufo in the galaxy of singers and songwriters, Alan Bishop is back in Beirut for a very intimate set in Beirut art center’s auditorium, an optimal setting to discover his unique songbook.

Alan Bishop is a seminal figure in the American underground with roots stretching back to the west coast experimental music and hardcore punk scene of the early 1980s. As a founding member of the band sun city girls and the record label sublime frequencies, Bishop has produced and/or performed on many critically acclaimed recordings over the past three decades.

Other creations of his include the singer/songwriter persona alvarius b, various collage works, folk cinema, performance of odd characters, puppet theatre, and miscellaneous writings.
