Tattoo pricing:

• $25 for small sized designs
• $50 for medium sized designs
• $75 – $150 for large sized designs

All proceeds go directly to the artists

This Saturday, November 19th, we are holding a flash tattoo event of Imad Kaafarani’s illustrations in Beirut Art Center’s From the Rooftops garden.

From Imad’s sketchbook, selected illustrations have been prepared as flash tattoos which you can choose from and get inked by Ghadeer Barri and Motasem Alkontar. Imad will also be illustrating live beside Barri and Alkontar, bringing back to mind the early purpose of flash sheets and their preparation, which were often shared between tattooers to increase their network and spread their personal style beyond their geographical reach.

To protect from the elements, the tattoo station will be located under Yehia Jammoul’s geodesic dome, a greenhouse-like structure commissioned as a part of our exhibition Above All, a Shared Resource: Experiments in design and production in collaboration with Beirut Makers. HotIceCream will be performing a DJ set and drinks will be available on the roof throughout the event.
