«Art is» a march on the 22nd of November 2013

This march is a transient passage in the independence civic parade that happens every year on the 22nd of November. This act comes to reclaim a collective public space in an existing social and official structure. Although not a protest, this organized act looks at the aesthetics of public demonstration.

The «popular front for the liberation of art» would like to thank all the active members who performed this act, Beirut art center and Amanda Abi Khalil for their invitation and support and Parine Jaddo for editing the video documentation.
