Oud Performance

Performance by singer and Oud musician Khodor Hassoun, accompanied by an accordionist. Hassoun will perform She Walked On By by Abdel Halim Hafez (1974, 40 min) within Hussein Nassereddine’s installation, Years of the Shining Face: You Were Right, O Heart in the space of the exhibition. The song, a recurring motif in the exhibition, weaves through its soundscape and imagery, echoing the work’s engagement with memory, displacement, and the passage of time.
