Saturday, June 14 · 12 PM – 5 PM
Led by Rawad Kanj, this one-day workshop introduces participants to the basics of woodworking through collaborative, hands-on learning. From understanding the grain and behavior of wood to practicing simple joining and cutting techniques, attendees will be guided through the process of sketching, measuring, sawing, and assembling. Working with reclaimed wood panels from past BAC exhibitions, participants will co-create a collective installation that will remain on view on the rooftop throughout all the summer.
Each participant will receive a lunch box from Nation Station that includes a vegetarian or non-vegetarian meal, a drink, and a dessert.
All tools and materials will be provided.
We recommend bringing a hat and wearing comfortable clothes, as the rooftop can get quite sunny
Participation fee: $15
